It’s been a helluva 4 days between then and now.

I’ve seen a lot of people. Made a lot of friends. Had a lot of ups and downs - including a fight that flavored most of the experience.

It’s been incredible.

PEACE AND LOVE TO EVERYONE,

I WANNA FEEL GOOD ABOUT EVERYTHING, IT’S THE BLACK HIPPIE!

I had a convo with a coworker recently. She told me about her love for traveling and being outside. She told me how she loves looking out of a window and seeing the world covered in snow.

That convo reminded me of how industrialized we’ve become. I’m such a city dude, but I do wonder from time to time what it would be like to be a hunter-gatherer. I’d love to hunt for my food.

“Really,” I told her, “I just want to bite a bear!”

“I wouldn’t want to do that!”, she replied laughing.

I said, “No, I would! I’d want to bite a bear, and eat it, feed it to my family, make clothes out of its hide … I like nature too. Sometimes, I really feel like a hippie.”

She looks at me sideways and says, “I think you are a hippie!”

The Black Hippie:

Believes in interconnectedness. Everything we do affects everyone and everything.

Believes in creating and sharing positive energy.

Believes there’s a reason why there isn’t just one single human being on the planet alone.

War only exists because of disharmonious energy, that is to say that we are only at conflict when the energies within us are not aligned or in harmony.

War exists when we forget we are all connected.

We are all made of the same things.

We all share the same earth and breath the same air.

There’s a lot of growth to happen.

There’s a lot of love to share.
