know why this works? IMO, jails are full of people who are deemed social deviants just because they didn’t have a creative outlet.

Give people something to do, to devote their energy to, and we’ll see a lot less violent crime. Just because someone can’t keep a job & they commit crimes to get what they want, doesn’t mean they’re unfit. We all need outlets. Some of us just have a hard time finding ours.

“Criminals” are no less human than anyone else. Including the little shits who jumped me last week. (If I beat their asses though, it would only be what they had coming to them anyway.)
